SeaTac Hotels
The city of SeaTac, Washington, home of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, offers over two-dozen hotels for travelers to choose from. Hotel properties in SeaTac include Days Inn, Rodeway Inn, Ramada Inn, Red Roof Inn, Best Western, Hampton Inn, Americas Best Value, Super 8, Econo Lodge, Clarion, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Red Lion, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, and the Embassy Suites. Nightly rates typically range from $40 up to over $200 depending on the property. Travelers looking for more luxurious accommodations may wish to consider the Marriott, the Radisson, or the Hilton, which are all in SeaTac. Due to traffic considerations and with Sea-Tac Airport being the only major commercial airline passenger airport serving the Puget Sound area, some local travelers spend the night at a SeaTac area hotel prior to a morning departure.
In nearby Tukwila, home of the Southcenter Shopping Mall and less than four miles from Sea-Tac Airport, there is a Travelodge, Extended Stay America, Howard Johnson, the Doubletree Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, and Residence Inn by Marriott. Many hotels near the airport provide guests with complimentary twenty-four hour airport shuttle service.
Other popular destinations in the area include Downtown Bellevue, which is about fifteen miles northeast of SeaTac and has a Hyatt Regency, a Westin, and a Hilton. Twenty miles south of SeaTac is Downtown Tacoma, which has a Courtyard by Marriott, Hotel Murano, and Red Lion. Whichever accommodation you choose, the SeaTac area offers something for everyone.
